About John Christopher
The recent advent of digital photography and the Computer Darkroom rekindled my interest in photography which began in the early 60s. I started exploring digital image creation in 2003, then decided to go full-time as a freelance Photographer, in \'08.
I specialize in nature-art photography, with an emphasis on Pacific Northwest themes. I see art as a \'language\' -- one that is ideally suited to the transmission of emotional realities. So, in my work I seek the patterns, colors, or subjects in nature which elicit an emotional response, then use the tools of Photography and the digital darkroom to communicate that emotional content to the viewer.
