A small wetland in the Painted Hills area of the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument , in Central Oregon's high desert, offers welcome relief for a variety of avian and other wildlife.
About John Christopher
I am a visual artist using tools of digital Photography for my artistic expression. Beyond the photographic capture of the raw beauty of nature, the 'digital darkroom' lets me bring to life images inspired by my photogenic home; the Pacific Northwest region of the US. To me art is a 'language' native to the realm of human emotions. So, in my work I seek the patterns, colors and subjects that elicit an emotional response which I then attempt to communicate to the viewer using the tools and techniques of digital photography.
